Why I’m Building Analyzine, a WordPress Analytics Plugin

I’ve spent more than a decade in WordPress, SEO, and digital marketing. In that time, one client question came up more than any other.

“Which channel brought that sale?”

And for most of that decade, my real answer was “give me a day.” Then I’d open three tabs and start guessing.

The three-tab problem

Here’s how it usually went. Analytics in one tab, the shop or form plugin in another, and a spreadsheet in the third to join them by hand.

By the time the sheet was ready, the numbers had moved. Google said one thing, Facebook claimed the same sale, and the newsletter quietly claimed it too.

Oh, and every pageview had gone off to someone else’s servers. Great.

So we built the tool I kept wishing for

Analyzine is a WordPress analytics plugin. It follows each visitor from the first click to the sale, lead or booking, and keeps all of it in your own WordPress database.

I co-founded it with Hasan Misbah and Syed Aziz Mostoba, and the team at Solvix Studio is building it. We gave ourselves three rules.

Rule one: plain answers. The report should say “this campaign brought 12 orders,” not hand you an attribution model and wish you luck.

Rule two: the data stays on the site. No analytics vendor. Raw IP addresses are never stored. There’s even a cookieless mode with a visitor ID that resets every day.

Rule three: count every kind of win. Orders, yes. But also leads, bookings, course enrolments, memberships, donations and affiliate sales. Most tools stop at the checkout.

The small things I’m proud of

The journey timeline. Open any session and read it like a story: where the person came from, what they read, and the moment they converted.

The AI assistant channel. Visitors from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Copilot get their own channel. It’s a floor, not a full count, because a lot of that traffic arrives without a referrer. I’d rather tell you that than inflate it.

The Privacy Audit. One screen that checks your actual settings and tells you, in plain words, what (if anything) leaves your server.

What it isn’t yet

It’s not launched, and I won’t pretend otherwise. We’re aiming for the first week of December.

We’re still deciding what to deliver at launch, although we have a long feature list. And yes, it’s a paid plugin, with a 30-day refund and a lifetime option.

This is a founder’s story, not a neutral review. Weigh it accordingly.
